Early-1990s winter New York. This is where the vampire Lestat follows the trail of one of America’s biggest drug dealers. On one of the secret apartments belonging to a mafia figure—where the criminal keeps the most valuable collection of antique religious items—there occurs their fateful meeting. Fateful both for Lestat and for his victim. For behind them there watches the Memnoch-devil himself, who has chosen the vampire Lestat as his assistant in order to stand together against God.
