Maresi

The Red Abbey on the island of Menos belongs to women and is a refuge for girls from all over the world. Here, valuable knowledge is kept, newcomers are trained, honors are paid to the First Mother, and they are taught to use her power. Maresi, who has lived on the island for several years, takes a new girl under her wing named Yai, who has a dark past and painful memories. But she could not imagine that danger would follow her when men with sharp swords arrive on Menos’s shores, hungry for profit.
