A magical Path is about to open for everyone who wants to enter Harug’s palace, where the chosen magicians bestow a great reward: they heal illnesses, rewind time, grant wealth and abundance, give courage, and provide everything the soul asks for. Many want to acquire the gift, but only the one who reaches the palace and passes through all the trials prepared by the Path can receive it. Volunteers head toward the Path, and each hopes to win.
In a palace hidden from prying eyes, the chosen magicians train their abilities to fulfill the winner’s dream. But even from the very beginning everything goes wrong: shortly before the trials begin, one of the six magicians dies… A man died in his bed, and a tattoo appeared on his arm—a snake with a hood and a snarling open mouth, bared teeth dripping poison. Magicians are in despair and horror, and an unknown contagion begins to infect the others… What does it mean?! And what about the volunteers—aren’t they walking into a trap with no way out?
