1930, during the era of British colonial rule in India. After her husband’s death, Eliza decides to devote herself to her career. Young widow—a talented photographer—when she’s offered the chance to travel to India for a year to capture scenes from the life of the ruling dynasty in one of the princely states, she eagerly seizes the opportunity to prove herself.
