Anton Semyonovich Makarenko is a world-famous educator, pedagogue, and writer. According to UNESCO’s position (1988), A. S. Makarenko was included among four educators (alongside D. Dewey, G. Kerschensteiner, and M. Montessori) who determined the way of pedagogical thinking in the 20th century. “Maybe this book is audacity? By raising children, today’s parents raise the future history of our country—and therefore, the history of the world. Can I carry the magnificent weight of such an immeasurable topic on my shoulders? Do I have the right—dare—to solve or at least pose the main questions of it?” Anton Semyonovich Makarenko © IDDK
