The main character of this Japanese vampire theatrical drama, Arararri Kōyomi, is an ordinary schoolboy—just as one expects in Japanese vampire theatrical dramas. Except that he is a bit more sarcastic and a bit more sexually preoccupied than many of his colleagues who play the main heroes. One fine night, strolling to a shop for adults’ magazines, he meets a dying legendary vampire—more precisely, a female vampire. And that’s when everything starts to tumble downhill: a funny erotic comedy stubbornly slips into a psychedelic drama, and even a squad of exorcists adds plenty of action to the story. And if you add that properly eccentric main heroine—the class representative in glasses—plus an offbeat specialist in the supernatural, then it’s simply a nightmare. That’s the kind of mess this is. But he won’t tell anyone this story.
