Stories about the Calf and Co.

A collection of original lubok songs (partushkas), anecdotes, and short parables with a Petersburg atmosphere—about a funny, awkward young guy nicknamed Telenok and the people around him. Inside are funny and absurd stories in which the hero keeps getting into trouble, as well as commentary from Alice’s AI neurobot to each text.

All characters and events in this collection are fictional. The images are generalized and recognizable—like a son-in-law and a mother-in-law, a husband returned from a business trip, or a “Mercedes” and a “Zaporozhets” from classic jokes. Any resemblance to real people and situations is purely coincidental.
