The moment Inga left the doctor, an FSB officer appeared and announced that she had been poisoned. A small silver capsule—this was what she swallowed. “Take care of it,” the doctor—who was arrested—said exactly that. But little by little Inga learned the secret. Do you think you’re alone on Earth? You’re wrong. They have been here for a long time. Unknown is who first stepped onto Earth: either an alien—those who came from another planet—or a reasonable human being. Two kinds managed to live together, while people didn’t suspect the stranger. The human feared for its kind, and the uzochi for its existence.
