In the second book of the trilogy by A.N. Tolstoy “Walking through Torment”—“The Eighteenth Year.” Russia is in the midst of the civil war. A merciless whirlwind has scattered the recently formed married couples of Dasha and Ivan Ilyich Telegins and of Katya and Vadim Roshchins.
