A Good Year

Max’s year didn’t go well. He lost his job and hope of paying off his debts. And then he inherits his uncle Henry’s estate in Provence, with a large vineyard. Max goes there intending to sell the land and the house as quickly as possible. However, life in Provence suits him—and all his thoughts are now occupied by the beautiful Fanny, independent and headstrong. Suddenly, Christie arrives from America—the illegitimate daughter of his uncle. Perhaps she will claim rights to the estate, and then Max will have to return to rainy London and forever part with this wonderful sunny place and his love.
