After the death of the great Svyatoslav on the island of Khorsa, the boyar Sergei—formerly Sergey Dukhariev—becomes the voivode of Prince Vladimir of Kyiv. Sergei has almost forgotten about the native twentieth century and has grown used to a new reality: he spends a lot of time on campaigns, is passionately in love with his lawful wife and children, and—most importantly—closely watches the arrival of new times...
The time of the old Varangian gods has run out. Perun the Lightning-Hand has left the capital city of Kyiv forever. A new era begins. Soon, on Russian lands, there will be only one God and one faith.
