People forgot the old code; they cast aside their gods. And now they live by чужими законами, worship чужою вірою. Once you betray once, you will betray again. Hard decisions will have to be made by the main hero, who—to his misfortune—went for a walk with a dog not in the right place and not at the right time. He is only one of many candidates thrown in to correct the mistakes of history of his land. Will he get what the gods planned for him? Will he have enough strength? He will have to push upward from the very bottom, lead people, learn to wage war, build fortresses and cities, and revive the lost faith in the gods. He’ll have to fight too…
“Hard times, hard morals…” The steppe dwellers’ gazes are turned to the northwest. Deliver a preemptive strike? There won’t be enough strength. What then? Hard questions, hard answers.
