The investigation is over. At last, the person who caused Nika to lose her hearing will be in the dock. It seems like the right time to celebrate—except the picture of the crime doesn’t add up.
Witnesses get confused and lie; the investigator shapes the evidence to fit his version; new facts point to other suspects. But the train of justice sweeps away all doubts and speeds toward a guilty verdict: the innocent are about to end up in prison, while Nika’s attacker still won’t be found.
To get to the truth, she’ll have to challenge the system and search for the killer herself. Because sometimes, in the name of justice, you have to take justice into your own hands.
