Katya is an ordinary schoolgirl living with her mother in a village at the edge of a forest, near a picturesque lake on the opposite shore where an elite cottage settlement is being built. Unexpectedly, a teenage cousin arrives for the summer holidays—someone Katya barely knows—and with his arrival an incredible chain of events begins, involving not only the family but the entire village. Terrible unknown creatures started coming to people and killing them. What’s it connected to? With a secret Soviet facility and a work settlement that were built among the woods and ended up abandoned thirty years ago? Or with shamanistic rituals that were carried out in these places in ancient times? The main thing is not only to find out the reason for what’s happening, but also to close the path from the otherworld to ours as soon as possible.
