A captain of St. Petersburg’s OMON Artёm Tokmarёv had been away from home for a long time. Thrown into a hot spot to be torn apart by a pack of militants, this lone wolf managed to break out of captivity and return to his home city. But all that awaits him there is a blow in the back—unknown by whom: perhaps old friends, perhaps new enemies. And how now can he figure out who is friend and who is enemy? Still, that’s what he has to do. And even once you figure it out, you realize: the force majeure continues; force majeure is forever… as long as we’re alive…
