A kind, deep, sincere book—one of those fairy tales that suits both adults and children. And it’s not yet clear whose minds it influences more.
The children’s audiobook series “Hedgehog in the Fog: Fairy Tales for Children and Not Only” consists of three discs—each disc has its own theme: friendship, life, and nature. Each fairy tale has its own unique musical arrangement.
Excerpt:
… Today the Hedgehog said to the Bear Cub:
— How good it is that we have each other!
The Bear Cub nodded.
— Just imagine: if I weren’t here, you would sit alone and there would be no one to talk to.
— And where would you be?
— I wouldn’t be.
— That can’t happen, — said the Bear Cub.
— I think so too, — said the Hedgehog. — But what if I’m gone altogether? You’d be alone. Well, what would you do?..
— I’d turn everything upside down, and you’d be found!
— There would be no me—nowhere!
— Then, then… Then I’ll run out into the field, — said the Bear Cub. — And I’ll shout: “Ye-ye-ye-zh-i-i-i-k!”, and you’ll hear me and shout back: “Bear Cub-o-o-o-k!..”. That’s it.
— No, — said the Hedgehog. — There’s not even a little bit of me. Understand?
— What are you clinging to me for? — the Bear Cub got angry. — If you’re not here, then I’m not here either. Got it?…
