Elves, Wizards and Bio-Idiots (Vol. 1)

So it happens—when you teach biology, you have a family, a house, and in perspective a doctoral thesis… And one day—just when you open the door—you get problems! At the threshold there’s some kind of otter, and it declares that your lawful husband is the real deal, an actual wizard! And he also has to produce new wizards. So file for divorce—and say thank you that you were left alive.

Someone else might have listened. But I, Valéchka Serova, definitely not one of those. Wizards? And what? After students, that’s no longer a problem. So, now we’ll read a spell to detect magical abilities—and then we’ll gallop through the worlds for raw materials for a magic wand and a few other particularly necessary things for a beginner mage. Our motto is: Came (without an invitation), Saw (boldly stared), Stole (and didn’t do it in a small way). Who here is bored with a quiet life? I’m going!
