I don’t know what it’s like now, but back then, if you asked children—at least from the 1980s of the last century—what they dreamed of, you’d hear the most common answer of that time. Almost all children on Earth dreamed of flying to the stars. Discovering new planets and mastering new worlds. But none of them ever thought about what such curiosity could lead to. What dangers await those who might become so brave that they go there—into the darkness of outer space—even if they’re armed with some advanced technologies. And besides that… what awaits their children there, left alone with a чужий світ… and perhaps even without the technologies that seem familiar… (the metric and time scales are applied as Earth’s for the convenience of readers).
