A mysterious and terrifying murder of photographer Nilov brings crime reporter Ekaterina Petrova from the Press Center of the Main Directorate of Internal Affairs of the Moscow Region to the town of Gorevsk. At the beginning of the 20th century, the town’s local attraction—the clock tower—was found with the only heir and the daughter of the factory owner Shubnikov, Aglaya, hanging there.
At that moment, the clock on the tower began running backward, and then it stopped forever. Since then, in Gorevsk there has been a superstition that the tower’s ghost demands ritual sacrifices—and grants cherished wishes in return.
A century later, the strange murders resumed. And in front of frightened townspeople, as well as Colonel Gushchin and Ekaterina Petrova and the entire investigative group who arrived at the scene, the hands of the clock tower came to life and made several circles backward…
