1948. A fourteen-year-old girl is brutally murdered. Suspicion falls on the owner of the art collective where she lived. However, the head of the department for combating banditism, Major Vitaly Shchelkunov, is sure the killer is someone else. Shchelkunov listens to a witness who claims that it was she who killed the girl and robbed the art collective’s cashbox. But can you believe a half-mad woman?
