Georgy Danelia, the director of such—now they say—“cult” films as “Serёzha,” “I Walk Through Moscow,” “Thirty-Three,” “Don’t Be Sad,” “Mimino,” “Afonya,” “Autumn Marathon,” and “Kin-dza-dza”—and there are too many to list—wrote a book for the first time. He tells us little stories—some very funny, some with a shadow of sadness—so much like his films.
