For the past few years, Farida Veliyeva has been heading the press service of the British Petroleum company’s Baku branch. In the course of her duties, she meets Omar Khaled, the company’s representative who has arrived in Baku. Close ties rapidly develop between Farida and Omar, and after dinner, they spend a wild night in an Arab hotel room. The woman returns home—only to learn the next morning that Omar has been murdered. Soon, the hunt turns to Veliyeva herself, and she barely manages to escape. But in the end, her best friend Alina dies.
