Violist Danilov

“The Altist Danilov” is a novel about eternal values, about great love as the foundation of creativity. In this poetic, airy work—like music—everything is intertwined: an unbridled flight of imagination and sharp social satire with real references to our history, even if quite recent. The main hero is a demon, but he is also a man. Using the devices of fantasy and romantic realism, the writer speaks about music, creativity, and the position of an artist in society.
