Lieutenant Colonel of the GRU Stanislav Kondratyev is tasked with eliminating the triple agent Simon, who works in Europe. When the Russian officer arrives at the scene, he realizes that “the target” is also of interest to the intelligence services of other countries. In the face-off between the US and China intelligence services, Kondratyev has to use all his combat experience. In the end, Stanislav captures Simon—but instead of killing him, he hands him over for execution to a Chinese intelligence officer. After that, he reports to the Center that the assignment has been completed. However, the lieutenant colonel has no idea that the real trials are only beginning.
