The Dawns Here Are Quiet...

Set during the Great Patriotic War (1941–1945)… Russia, Karelia, autumn 1941. Five young girls—anti-aircraft gunners, many of whom are not even 20 yet—and their commander, Sergeant Vaskov, unexpectedly discover that in this area far from the front line, a German sabotage unit has landed. The information must be transmitted to headquarters. But communication is disrupted by the saboteurs; the small detachment is cut off from its own, and help isn’t coming. The enemies try to push deeper into the rear of Soviet troops on a mission to destroy a number of important facilities.
