Description
A satirical novella by the writers Ilya Ilf and Yevgeny Petrov consists of ten stories (novellas) united by an overarching plot. The novellas were published in the magazine “Chudak.” The cycle remained unfinished.
In a Moscow office that prepares Claws and Tails, the “battle of titans” between the office head Pavel Venediktovich Fanatyuk and his deputy Satanuk resulted in Fanatyuk’s victory. He decided to fire all supporters of his opponent—and among them was the paperwork clerk of the general office, Shaherezada Fedorovna Shaitanova. She began telling him various stories (the last one was about her fight with Satanuk). By the time she had told all the stories, Satanuk had recovered, and Fanatyuk was appointed “to the city of Kolokolamsk as city photographer.”
The audiobook is narrated by dubbing artist and actor Maksim Galits.
