A derelict club with a dark history becomes for Chris a way west—where, around every corner, long-buried secrets lurk, and evil that has been awakened. Here the game begins, in which the cost of a mistake is life—and stopping is no longer possible.

The club on the outskirts of town draws him in like a lure. To Chris, it seems to be the only place where he can hide. Until it becomes clear: the feeling of safety is nothing but deception.

Chris understands that behind the pulsation of neon something old and ill-intentioned is hiding. Slot machines seem to be watching, shadows whisper his name, and the person he trusted grows colder and more dangerous day by day. To get to the truth, Chris will have to unravel a chain of long-ago disappearances and touch the secret the city preferred to erase from memory.
