Because We Are Moms!

Marek Myshkin, a second-grader, ends up in the hospital with a leg injury. In the ward with him there are three more boys. At first, everything in the hospital frightens them: strict people in identical clothing, injections, pain, and uncertainty. There are no relatives here. And it turns out that the hospital has a secret power—apparently even the nurses and doctors fear it. The boys have to stick together to stand up to this hidden force. Marek and his friends are helped by toys that have lived in the hospital for a long time: an old tin frog named Kvak, a doll—Arseniy Petrovich, a robot “Pa-pa-pasha,” a plastic elephant named Jumbo, a Winx doll, and others. They also know how to heal and comfort. It’s easier to overcome difficulties when you have loyal and cheerful friends. Perhaps that’s what the story is about. And of course, a wicked secret power is born in the mind when fear’s eyes are big. And those you initially feared and didn’t like are actually caring, reliable people.
