Description
Belterritran. A mysterious land of happiness, flourishing under the power of the Light.
A country that, for centuries, has been considered only an ancient legend!
So why does the experienced thief Ballas, who has accidentally come into possession of a mysterious ancient disk adorned with priceless gemstones, have visions of Belterritran haunting him again and again?
He begins his journey to the North—because, according to tales, beyond the mountains and impassable ice, there lies a passage leading to the land of happiness.
But not only the soldiers of the bloody Church of the Pilgrims—who rule the world—follow him and his companions: a wise merchant of ancient manuscripts and his beautiful daughter. Their allies also trail close behind—monstrous creatures, descendants of a once almost exterminated by humankind ancient race of Lektivins…
