Imagine a mysterious red box appears on your doorstep, with your name on it. Wouldn’t you want to know what’s inside?
On the day Choi Doik was supposed to take an exam for a police position, he finds such a box. Inside is a black note with a mysterious warning: “Under no circumstances speak to the man in a black suit.” The message makes him uneasy, but he still goes to the exam. There he encounters a stranger in a black suit, who asks him about direction. Soon after that, in front of his eyes, a person in a black suit jumps from the roof, taking his life—and the life of a girl who happened to be nearby—with him.
Choi Doik isn’t the only one who received such a box. Over time, he meets other people who had the same boxes. Each contained a note with a phrase that at first seems meaningless, but soon becomes clear…
