The Captain's Daughter

For the first time, Egor Beroev stepped onto the stage at the age of seven. The path of the future actor developed in a natural way: studies at the Shchukin School, work in theatre and film, and then — prominent roles on television. The broad audience remembers Beroev from the TV series "Family Secrets," "The Fifth Corner," "Dump," "Moscow Windows," and "Citizen Chief Officer." However, his truly loud popularity came to him after the premiere of "The Turkish Gambit."

The film, made based on the novel by Boris Akunin, immediately won the love of viewers — largely thanks to Beroev’s acting. On screen, he created the image of Erast Fandorin: a charming, impeccably well-mannered, and captivating hero who wins over women’s hearts.

Today, Egor Vadimovich cooperates with the "Center for Dramaturgy and Directing" and continues to actively film and work in television. He participated in the show "Ice Age," hosted the program "Wait for Me," and recently delighted literature lovers by appearing as the reader of Alexander Pushkin’s historical novel "The Captain’s Daughter."

The work was created by Pushkin based on his own studies of the history of the Pugachev uprising. It is a story of love and intrigue, magnanimity and treachery, courage and betrayal—about the clash of evil and good. Thanks to the reader’s skill, listeners will be able to feel the atmosphere of the book more deeply and, as if, find themselves alongside the heroes against the backdrop of great historical events.
