A radio play based on the play “The Liberated Don Quixote” by Anatoly Vasilievich Lunacharsky, the first People’s Commissar of Education of the RSFSR. Lunacharsky used “eternal images” from world literature history in the play “The Liberated Don Quixote” to stage the urgent problems of modern times. In his play, Lunacharsky traces the ways the revolutionary people and the intelligentsia relate to one another. In the play, Lunacharsky was the first among Soviet playwrights to speak about the problems and conditions of the entry of the Russian intelligentsia into the October Revolution.
