A young French teacher faces death for the first time at her grandmother’s funeral, after which constant fear of death completely takes over her life. The fear turns into a desire to take revenge on the world and on God for her mortality—and that desire leads to action: obsessive and unstoppable. “Apoptosis” is Natasha Grin’s debut novel. An experimental text that thoroughly explores the age-old questions of life and death.
