The project “Russia, Once Again.”
“Radio Culture” offers a touching radio play about love between two elderly people, staged by the Ekaterinburg Theater of the Young Spectator.
It seems life has already been lived. For Elsa, of course, it wasn’t the most surprising or the best—but it was still lived. There was a daughter, a granddaughter, a great-granddaughter, a house, a garden… Complaining isn’t necessary. Having met Vasily, Elsa realizes that until that moment, as if she hadn’t lived at all—she had only been thinking that everything would happen later. And now, thanks to Vasily, that “later” has arrived, and hope is born…
But with the hopes of two people, neither relatives nor neighbors are willing to count. Not out of malice, and not out of envy either. Each has their own truth—but how do you live with it?
