The Plot Against Stalin

On the eve of the war, a major conspiracy against Stalin is uncovered. Many of its participants are destroyed. But some manage to escape. Among them is a former intelligence officer, Reznik. Where is he now: fled to the West? Fighting at the front? Finding and neutralizing the fugitive is assigned to a group of Major Pavel Romanov’s SMERSH. But when the group crosses the border, they die. The major is first captured by the Germans, and after escaping, he ends up with French partisans. There, in the unit, he accidentally meets Reznik. The former conspirator fights bravely against the fascists. Pavel finds himself in a difficult situation: the order to destroy the defector has not been canceled…
