Description
This land is full of wonders—both beautiful and terrifying. Each of the cities is unique: in Bitter Splash, you can hear the voices of waves and emptiness; the white-stoned walls of Garden-by-the-Shoal are filled with healing energy; and the Copper City comes alive with mechanical sounds… All the cities are powered by energy from the underground sun, but its brightness is felt most of all in the City of the Elder House.
The story unfolds at the edge of the City of the Elder House, a district away from the houses of the rejected, on barren land. Here lives a young man named Ankarat. Since childhood, he has heard the call of the underground sun and believes he will change the fate of his friends and his native neighborhood. However, those who have magic and power have their own plans for Ankarat.
