They met on the road—in a column of prisoners, among women, elderly people, and children who, at dawn, were going to be shot: a young soldier, a suntanned guy, and a thin brown-eyed girl. By the will of a dream, they were transported to another world where there is no war and no death camp—where there is everything that makes a person’s life beautiful. They wrote their future, which was never destined to come true…
