Nikolai Vorontsov, along with his fellow combat comrades, continues fighting the enemies of Soviet power. The revolution took place just as in the familiar story: power passed to the Bolsheviks. But those who are not ready to put up with the changes do not intend to hand it over to ordinary people and unleash fierce resistance. Everywhere there is violence and executions—thousands of completely innocent people die, and the country is swept up by the most terrible ordeal: the Civil War. The enemy could be anyone—even yesterday’s friend or a close relative… Will the marksmen be able to hold their ground in this hell, survive, and then take up the building of a new country and a new life?
