Dobrynya Nikitich, Ilya Muromets, and Alyosha Popovich are once again called by the road—new trials lie ahead. The bogatyrs dreamed of catching their breath and spending time with loved ones, because a new addition is expected in their families—yet peace is out of the question: danger is already nearby, and the homeland needs protection once again. An anxious rumor spreads across Rus’: a giant cloud is approaching the land, promising death to all living things and promising to replace the bright day forever with impenetrable darkness.
