Description
Late in the evening, in one of the Moscow alleyways of Leontievsky Lane, the body of a man is found. Crime scene experts and an operational team from Criminal Investigation arrive immediately, led by Lieutenant Colonel Danilov. In the victim’s pockets, besides money, there are stacks of cigarettes and an invoice from the restaurant “Astoria.” Also found is an удостоверение—a MUR (Moscow Criminal Investigation Department) employee ID. But its authenticity raises serious doubts. It seems the operatives will once again have to solve a difficult problem with many unknowns.
