Description
In a Japanese city, eight people disappeared mysteriously within just a few months. The police have no evidence—no leads at all. But one day, a confession appears in the police station: a certain Oda Sotaizu takes responsibility for the disappearance of those people. He’s sent to prison and interrogated, but he stubbornly says nothing. Even after a trial where he is sentenced to death by hanging. Many years later, a journalist named Jesse Ball decides to investigate what happened.
