Over half a century ago, after Leonid Gaidai’s film “The Leader of the Redskins,” the story about two swindlers who were desperately in need of money and decided, in order to pay the ransom, to kidnap the son of a wealthy townsman was told in a series. In “Adventure Seekers,” as in many other author’s novellas, it’s all about the roads we choose.
“Happiness is a prize you must strive for. An adventure is the road that leads to it. Chance is what sometimes flickers from the shadow along the edges of the road… And an adventure seeker is the one who keeps looking at fences and suburban groves and meadows while going along the path to happiness.”
