Colorful days at work for not the biggest TV channel. Recently, a journalism graduate named Oksana joined the staff. Filming and broadcasts, poor old people and overreaching officials—terrible and funny things merge into a continuous, bizarre stream of images for her. Reporter assignments intertwine with love entanglements, passions, intrigues, and betrayals, so abundant in life at the channel. And then her colleague—the news anchor and editor—is murdered. Can the killing be driven by political motives, or are there some personal reasons? Who, after all, could that not-so-prominent TV official have gotten in the way of?
