Description
In 1907–1909, Jack London traveled through the southern part of the Pacific Ocean aboard the ship “Snark,” built according to the writer’s own designs. Visits to tropical islands, exotic nature, the particular everyday life and customs of indigenous tribes, and the life of white settlers inspired London to create a cycle of eight stories, titled “Tales of the South Seas.”
The audiobook’s heroes are fierce aborigines and brave sailors, cruel savages and no less cruel colonizers, seekers of treasures and adventures, buccaneers and adventurers.
