Fairy Tales for Little Children

The book includes stories about little girls and boys who really want to be independent, but not always able to deal with difficulties. Sometimes magical beings help them grow up—like Geveychik, a rubber boy who arrived to us from the Amazon forests, or a great djinn from the underworld named Bahram. And sometimes they are saved by simple but responsible investigators called Koloboks. There are also other ways to grow up, for example, getting a little monkey named Anfiska and starting to take care of her! But the boy Yasha was raised by his parents. So he’s always climbing somewhere, running away somewhere, and demanding an elephant. However, the parents found a way to reach an agreement with him.
