The Sylphid and the Dragon

The Sylphid and the Dragon

10 hrs. 16 min.
Description
Sylphs are winged beings capable of flight, yet they’re so much like people—with their weaknesses and passions. In a world where Sylphida Almaris and other sylphs live, a Great Rift has occurred. Through it, creatures from other worlds penetrate this one and… become prisoners here, deprived of any way to return. Outsiders are not welcomed here; they are feared and met with hostility, so they have to hide on a magical island beneath a magic veil.

Tian is a black dragon, a tall young man who can turn into a fire- and death-bringing monster in the blink of an eye. And like other “arrivals,” he feels тоска and loneliness. Many things stand between his feelings and Almaris—whom he saved from certain death: Tian’s rejection by her relatives, the treachery of those who seem like friends but pursue their own selfish goals, and a number of ominous and tragic events that befall the heroes. Meanwhile, the sylphs in this world have real enemies—cruel ash elves. And who knows, perhaps it is the outsiders who will become the ones to lend a helping hand to the sylphs in their confrontation with the merciless ash-elven king Valern. A vivid and diverse world, dangerous adventures, unexpected plot twists, several love lines, friendship and self-sacrifice by the heroes await you in this story. Listen to the thrilling tale in nine episodes.

The writer Marina Kravtsova, author of the series, is known for romantic fantasy novels. The book “Sylphida and the Dragon” brought her victory in the literary serials competition on the Litmarket portal and is now released as a multi-episode audio play.
