Nastya is seventeen: tender yet demanding, and a future actress. She has a complicated relationship with her mother and the world around her. She has a mother from whom, in her daughter’s opinion, nothing good came. There is also her grandmother Marina Timofeevna—a stately beauty who, for some reason, hates Nastya’s late father, a genius writer. But why? For what? What secrets does her mother have with her grandmother?

One beautiful morning at Nastya’s entrance audition at the theater, something terrible happens— a young actress, a star of TV series, dies. Nastya and her friend Dania become almost witnesses to the murder; they may even be in danger themselves. However, danger threatens the entire family made up exclusively of women!
