If the rescuers reach the nearest enclave with the newcomers and don’t die themselves. But is it really so easy and safe inside the enclave as it seems at first glance? After all, resources are needed for defense and survival, the nearby area must be cleared of monsters, criminal elements must be dealt with, and the ranks of those endlessly dying defenders and gatherers must be replenished. And most importantly—you must protect the passages to a relatively quiet lagoon while, all around, the sea rages with bloody chaos where no one can survive. The cost of any mistake is too high.
