Sonya Khvostik and her friends are sure: the real miracles come in winter. But what if New Year is already over, and the magic still hasn’t happened? Then all that’s left is to wait for Christmas! Only the kids aren’t used to simply hoping—they decide to bring the miracle closer themselves and, whatever it takes, get a small piece of it for themselves.

To truly earn a Christmas miracle, Sonya, Vovka, Grisha, Zhenya, and Rita take on a good deed: help all the puppies-dogs they can find on the street. But is it possible for such a plan to go smoothly when five restless kids set about it—and there’s a whole company of lively little pups all around?
