Description
A cycle of audio books about the backstage of television, told in the voice of an editing director. Work in the news is shown without embellishment: the situations are recognizable, the characters often have real-life prototypes, and the fact that after all the written events they did not turn on the author is something the author himself considers a rare stroke of luck.
The series clearly leans toward mysticism and includes ten novellas. With each subsequent story, the supernatural becomes noticeably more prominent, and by the end it moves to the forefront.
The novella “Dawn over Chatyr-tau” is formally listed as part of the cycle and stands at #11, but in essence it is a short prequel/recap (rickvel), taking place after the completion of the main story.
